I don't know why but trying to come up with something different to eat everyday so I've decided to try meal prep because I do love cooking (and extremely newbie though so learning how I go). This particular one did not take long at all. Not even a full day and with what I cooked it will last me 7 days (some are in the freezer) because I was scared it would go bad. But basically it's a my version of chicken burrito bowls. I'll add the lettuce and corn and tomato's after it's warmed up…. but if anyone has cost effective ways to save money meal prepping, hacks you have learned along the way, or just any constructive criticism is always welcomed. I'm still learning and trying to understand the best ways to do it.

Meant to say I would add the onion and tomato fresh.. also a little sour cream and avocado mixture
Please post your recipe!
We recently added a rule (#6) requiring either a recipe or list of ingredients, since it is so often requested. If you wouldn’t mind adding that we’d appreciate it!
Recipe and ingredients listed here because I messed that up 😆 first I marinade boneless chicken thighs in taco seasoning and bake it at 375 until I know they’re done. Then, I make rice in rice cooker with a seasoning my girlfriend gets from brazil called Sazon. While those cooked, I added a can of corn and pento beans with taco seasoning and adobo. While all that cooks, I chop up the bell pepper and add seasoning and let it cook down till I see nice charred marks and they are soft. Lastly, I dice tomato and onion, mix together, add lime juice and seasoning but I wish I had some cilantro so gonna get some tomorrow and add.

I’ve found that I grow tired of eating the same dish several days in a row. Not sure if you’re the same way or not, but I have found that meal prepping two starches and veggies (for example: paste and rice. Sauteed peppers and broccoli carrots) or varying multiple marinades/sauces allows me the freedom to mix and match different bowls depending on what I want that day. This has helped me be more successful in the long run!
But great first prep! You’re well on ur way!
Looks fantastic!
Soups, stews, chilis, and curries are great to cook, portion and freeze.
I think you could try making a weekly plan, but try not to have the same meals every day, as you might get tired of eating the same thing.
