Iโm not a fan of apps that make me feel bad about my food choices. I hated MFP for changing the calorie count colours to red if I went over. I know Iโve gone over and Iโm honestly logging it, which is better than ignoring it. I use MyNetDiary now, there are no messages like in LoseIt (on the free version anyways), and while the colours change from green to yellow to orange to red, itโs much better than straight to red.

time for a different app.

That app is holding you back from living your best life.

I really like MyNetDiary. Their food tips are optional, donโt show up on the same page where you logged food, and donโt discuss โholding yourself backโ but are usually about which cooking fat to use.

This made me super angry as well. It started saying everything equaled a negative pattern, except for the chocolate I was eating that sent me over, because it was the only thing I had consistently ha

What a stupid feature. Whatโs even stupider is that from what I can see in the screenshot, cheese is your lowest calorie entry. lol
Yes cheese is calorie dense, hence why developers coded in that warning I assuming. However you are eating it in moderation which is perfect! And now you are being reprimanded for eating in moderation.
Developers should have added another line of code to block that warning if the entry is below a certain threshold of calories or volume. For example if you entered 150 g of cheese, display the warning. But not for normal portion sizes.

I feel like mine always tells me I do a good job fitting things into my calorie plan that I donโt feel like I do. When I click to see the month view for that item most of the days are red too so I donโt get it.

I think there is no rhyme or reason to what they decide to flag like that. Cause itโll be like โpositive pattern detected!โ On my least healthy meal choices hahah I ignore
