I've tried everything and cannot come up with a solution.
When I bought the Joe it came with a shattered dome, got a replacement.
Installed it and the locking mechanism is not able to latch, I removed it and installed it with the dome down and it won't unlock.
I installed extra washers but no help…
The dome sticks out past the front of the base ring.

I can’t see what exactly the issue is. One part of the latch can be adjusted horizontally and the other part vertically. Align the dome and not the seal. Mine isn’t perfect either
I honestly don’t know either. My KJC3 came sort of out of alignment but still latches and seals fine. No idea about a dome replacement.
Maybe my useless comment will aid the Reddit algorithm and attract more traffic to your post and get you the solution you need. I’ll lurk about because I am curious.
It looks good to me? Is it because of that thermal strip isnt perfect?

Maybe contact them again and said you tried everything you can and it still dont align, maybe they’ll send someone.
