

I’ll start by saying I’m not really a fan of cream base sauces…worked at a mom/pop Italian restaurant in my youth and feasted too much on the blacken chicken fettuccini and now stay away from cream sauces.
I will say that this was very yummy! I also enjoyed the larger pieces of chicken, they didn’t get lost in the pasta. I will say that if I get it again, I’ll go a bit lighter with the lemon zest or maybe only just the lemon juice. I prefer a more subtle taste of lemon.
Added the house rolls but garlic bread would have been great.
(I don’t like zucchini pieces and normally shred it when recipes call for it but I completely forgot it this time).
