After reading plenty of reviews on here and insta, finally decided to give these a try! I just put a quarter of the sauce and I AM DYING! 🥵

I built my tolerance up overtime. You really do get more used to it the more you eat it. First time is always tough when you’re not used to food that spicy.

By adding heavy cream, sautéed onions, mushrooms, tomato paste, garlic, and lime juice

Small doses. Taking breaks and go from there

Practice, mostly, but add-ins can be helpful too. I like this one with chicken, broccoli and cheese. Still spicy, but the added variety/creaminess makes it more manageable.

Add-ins and side dishes! A splash of cream really tones it down, I also tend to mix in a touch of the boiling noodle water rather than going full dry noodles (just enough to make it saucy, not soupy). Sometimes I throw in a slice of American cheese for extra flavor. I also like some creamy cucumber salad and/or pickled radish (danmuji) on the side to munch on between bites. Eventually you acclimate to the spice and crave it lol.

I haven’t tried this flavor yet but I got the carbonara one and put the whole spicy pack in. I ate the whole bowl, but lemme tell you what I didn’t try to kiss my newborn for awhile after 😂😅

Just use 1/3 of the spice pack

I have seen a ‘hack’ where they added egg yolk, mayo and some other things, but honestly these are fine for me. Any fats will help tame the heat a bit, and if you could find a way to incorporate some sweetness to this, it would also help dissipate the heat quicker.

Heres how i do it
1. Boil the noodles according to the package instructions. 2. Drain the noodles, reserving a small amount of the cooking water in the pot. 3.i Add cream and cheese slices to the pot and heat over high heat for a few minutes, stirring constantly until the cheese melts and combines with the cream. 4. Add the sauce packet and stir until well combined. 5. Voila

You should try the 2X lol

Its not the craziest when things are added. A soft boiled or fried egg does wonders to the mix.

Follow up question, I know these are supposed to be a stir fry but can this be made to have a soup instead like normal ramen?

I eat a ton of spicy food so this was nothing for me. However, 2x spicy?? I still struggle.

Use cold noodles, don’t use the hot noodles right after boiling. Rinse your noodles under running cold water.
Use less sauce.
Take your time.
Eat spicy food more often (start from manageble levels).
Have something creamy or fatty near you to drink, like milk or something.
Ramen_Slave
Mix mayo, sugar, canned corn, mozzarella, black pepper. Mix. Spread over prepared noodles in oven safe dish under a broiler till bubbly. Fire……..

They also make chicken dumplings with the same super hot flavour.

I don’t stop eating so that I don’t feel the sensation in my mouth
Over time, I got desensitized by it

You just do.
You eat a pack and you suffer from it only once. Don’t be a puss and add the whole package and eat it like a champ.
If you just eat these black buldak noodles every day for the next few weeks, you won’t notice the heat ans pain on day two. That is ho you build tolerance.
I cut Thai chili’s through my buldak x2 and I don’t really register it. Yes I snot and sweat and all that jazz, but my tolerance make that I do not reallt feel the pain anymore.
