This is by far the worst appliance I have ever owned.
Constant electronics issues.
Constant clogging.
Constant ignition issues.
Electronic issues:
This thing just loves to stop powering the auger. Half way through a cook, it always just stops. Chokes itself out. Take the top off, check everything out, nothing. Power on/off multiple times nothing. Wait 20 minutes, sometimes it starts to work. Sometimes 40 minutes, it might work.
(Picture of circuit board attached for any electronics engineers to chime in. 12vdc to optocoupler, to triac, with safety cap, very simple, very problematic.)
Clogging:
Piss poor auger design. The center of the dual feed auger has a kick out tab, which isn't clearanced right, and will jam a pellet between the tab and side walls. Constant overloads. (Yes I have tried different pellet brands. New bags, not moist)
Ignition issues:
Expect to vacuum the burn pot out every time. Did the pellet grill stop again during the cook (see above)? Too bad. Take apart the hot grill and clean the burn pot. Beautiful ingniter design, it's slip fitted into a metal sleeve, nothing holding it from walking away over time.
But expensive stainless steel grill good????
NO. My 300$ Davy crockett has been going strong since 2019. Damn thing is rusted and starts right up every time.
Want to cook briskets on your coyote? 8lb trimmed brisket took 26 hours at 275°. (190° until 170 internal, then 275 till finish). 26 HOURS!!!
What a great POS. But at least it's got stainless grates …..
I have had this thing for around 6 months. And have been taking it apart for what feels like 8 months. Nice ratio of (3 cooks:1.5 repairs)

Has the OEM offered any support? If they have not, kick the summa bitch to the curb and go grab a cheaper Pit Boss and get to cooking.
Man, for the price these things go for, if I had that amount of problems I would be shitting in someone’s ear at this point. Sucks.
You bought a $3k+ 36” pellet grille?
