Pardon the not so great photo and presentation as the wontons came buried under the noodles so I tried to dig up two of the four to get in the photo. The Hong Kong location has been in the Michelin start guide since 2012 and ya this is a pretty good very filling dish for the price. I think I’m conditioned from shrimp being so expensive at other restaurants that I’m baffled by how much shrimp they’re able to stuff into these wontons and give you 4 of them for $10. This plaza at Midland/McNicoll is packed with fire looking noodles spots and other Asian eats I’m trying to check out more of.

I have been a customer at their Richmond Hill location since they opened in Canada maybe 30 years ago, and it has been in a steady decline for the last few decades.
I recommend Big Trio (not 100% sure, but it used to be called Wonton Chai, correct me if I am wrong) and Wonton Hut if you are near their Richmond Hill location.

This for 10 bucks is pretty good, hearty comfort food that can fill you up.

I used to work about a five minute walk from their Richmond Hill location. That was one of the few good things about schlepping up to York Region every day.
