Howdy, i’m a transplant from r/hotsauce but I figured this would be more at home for this post.
I grew some Purple UFO Peppers this summer and decided to muddle them up into a spicy AF cocktail called:
The Green Goblin
The rule is that you have to eat the purple cap at some point during the enjoyment of this cocktail.
Recipe below:
2.5oz Anejo Tequila (the more carmel notes the better)
0.75oz Lime juice (fresh squeeze, no pre bottle)
0.5oz Green Chartreuse
0.4oz Agave Syrup
2 dashes Absinthe
2 full Purple UFO Peppers
Muddle one cut up Pepper in glass and shake with all ingredients with ice.
Pour into glass and serve with purple cap from second pepper.
Remove guests who don’t eat purple cap.
Fun substitutions:
Muddle jalapenos and serve with jalapeno cap?
A SWAMP GOBLIN
Muddle habaneros and serve with habanero cap?
A HOB GOBLIN
Go and have some fun.
