First BLT of the season. 🥓🥬🍅 Used a Berkeley Tie-dye picked yesterday. I have been growing the variety three years in a row, it’s beautiful and delicious. Intense flavor, perfect with applewood smoked bacon, Romaine lettuce, mayo on homemade toasted sourdough. Months of work and it was worth it 🤗

    When I told my husband that I was making BLTs on Thursday night he was disappointed and claimed that he doesn’t like them. Farm fresh bacon and a mystery beefsteak tomato fresh from our garden changed his tune.
