What are y’all putting this on? Fly By Jing products were on sale and I wanted some Zhong Sauce and snagged this too. It tastes… different and I’m not sure what it would work with.

How does it compare to the angry grandma, lao gan ma?
capntrps
Personally, I have not found this to be a very good product.
Conceptually. Awesome.
Execution. Extremely low. Not hot, really oily without the heat, just not hot.
Flavour dilluted and not really flavourful. ie want sesame, soy and ginger burned bits, and that barely comes through.
Here’s an idea for all haters. Start a contest to see who can make the best, and let me know the results compared to this product.

I like got their extra spicy and regular chili crunch….and much prefer the extra spicy. Haven’t tried their other products.

Try mixing it into some hummus.
Mochinpra
Mix with same part soy sauce, and ponzu. Used as a sauce for dumplings, eggs, tofu, etc. I have tried mixing it with ketchup, and barbeque sauce to mix it up and was pleasantly surprised.

A heaping teaspoon in a bowl of rice. Optional fried egg and hamburger meat.
