This was really really good! So far all the tilapia dishes have been future repeats and this is added to that list.

Seasoning on the tilapia was great! Really flavorful. Plus I love the size of the tilapia, this was only half of one piece!! Theres still a whole other serving for lunch/dinner tomorrow and the other half of this piece if I get hungry tonight.

I don’t eat kidney beans often so this was something fun to try. Definitely some great flavor but I was just slightly disappointed with what is basically plain white (lemon) rice. I added some “bean juice” to the rice and that helped a bit.

All in all, this was something a bit different for me and fun to try/cook. If you like tilapia, definitely give this one a try!

Honestly I find the fish products always good size and good cuts. Unlike a chicken filet the fish filets really don’t have any variances (like oddly cut chicken filets). I try to get a fish meal every week (at standard cost but I’m not against adding shrimp to a vegan/ vegetarian meal when it’s just like 4.99 USD per serving – it adds a desired texture to like risottos for me) even have two coming next week.

Shrimp is my favorite, then salmon (though likely only premium meal or some upcharge) tilapia, barramundi and lastly trout (also likely just premium meal or some upcharge). I’m a bit surprised my least favorite was the trout, partially cause it didn’t cook in the time per the instructions, had to cook it several minutes longer, compared to any of the other fishes.

For this meal yea the tilapia turned out great. As you said the rice was boring, I ended up mixing the rice and beans together to try to get some more flavor to the rice. Though their was a lot of beans, and I do like beans so no issue there, that could practically just skip the rice.
