Very good steak. Cooked perfectly. And the twice baked potato had no business being so good. Def would go back

This does not look appetizing, and I am on a straight-up carnivore diet. Hopefully it tasted good!

It looks good. It also looks like 2 sticks of butter or more were used for the steak and the potatoes. Not saying that’s bad but, surely tasty, yet very rich.

one of the LA classics — the garlic bread, table salad, coconut shrimp, potato skins, and tiki drinks are all great. and the prime rib, filet, ribs, and sides are all good enough

The last time I went, which was pre-pandemic, I felt that their quality had diminished from the years before. But you had a good meal? Just curious if they’re doing better.

Been there a few times since the pandemic. 1st time was ok but my wife loved the place and the decor, I’d been there once as a kid so it brought back nice memories. 2nd time my steak was fantastic, wife’s food was great too so I thought ok, we have another nice place to go to when we want to get out and away for a bit. 3rd time was one of the worst steaks I’ve ever had eating at a restaurant. Parts were tough, parts were cooked to medium, which was what I asked for and a good part was rare. Ranged from seasoned well to I guess they forgot this part. All in all just bad meal.

Wife likes the place so if we ever do go again I’d get the pulled pork sandwich or something else. Was probably just a bad night but man, I did not enjoy paying that bill and it’s completely scared me off their NY steak.

I had the ribs and wings the other night (first time there). Was pretty happy.

Damon’s has like $100k of vintage Orchids of Hawaii tiki lamps hanging in there. People don’t realize that place is basically a functional museum of vintage tiki. I would kill to have those lamps in my bar. I have a few of them that I have had to search the ends of the Earth for and paid way too much for and Damon’s just casually has the entire catalog chilling in their dining room. It’s not fair. Here’s mine since precisely zero of you have asked to see them lol

Ive only been once since moving out here two years ago and i really liked it. That garlic bread was just incredible. I enjoyed my steak as well. I didnt enjoy the salad tbh, but enjoyed how it was served. I just wasnt a fan of the dressing. Id definitely go back again though.

Been wanting to go but need to wait until I’m financially better-off. How much was this meal?

Looks bad, like some one trying to make a steak and failed.

I live 2 miles away and have never been.

Their garlic bread and atmosphere are the best!

They have reduced their menu since the start of the pandemic. Fewer entrees and some sides are completely gone now.

Drink prices have raised and daily drink specials like Mai Tai Mondays doesn’t exist anymore.

The meals are still good and I have only had issues with the quality if it gets too crowded.

I love the *concept* of Damon’s, but in reality their Tiki cocktails aren’t up to snuff (no Zombie?) and too often I feel like I’m eating at an Elks lodge dinner. Value? I suppose. Probably why I’ve been going 30 years despite the complaints

Love this place! Especially late at night when it’s more chill.
