  1. My own version of Chicken Cacciatore
I made a dish similar to this last night but I boosted the Health-O~Meter by adding lots of vegetables. It was a crock pot recipe also. I didn’t pre cook anything to cut down on the fat and calories. I added to the crockpot:
(Chop all of your vegetables into large pieces and no need to drain cans)
4-6 boneless skinless chicken thighs or 4 breasts
A large jar of spaghetti sauce
    Can chopped tomatoes
    Can of olives
    1 chopped onion
    1 chopped green pepper
    Mushrooms, fresh or canned
One- two tablespoons olive oil for that Italian flavor and olive oil is considered healthy
    2 teaspoons of chopped garlic
    1 teaspoon of dried oregano
    1 teaspoon of fennel (optional)
    Salt and pepper to taste.
You also can add red pepper if you like spicy food.

At the end of 3-4 hours on high,
    Remove chicken and shred.
    Then add to pot:
1 cup of water, add more if needed
One small box spaghetti, I break them in two
Cook until spaghetti is soft or eldente to your liking
    Add back shredded chicken, mix
Serve with parmigiana sprinkled on top

It is delicious and your family will get a bunch of vegetables without knowing it. πŸ€“
    Enjoy!

  3. Looks so yummy. All of my favorite things in one place…chicken, pasta, cheese, and pasta sauce…how could it not be good! : )

  4. I made this for dinner yesterday when I watched this video.I was excited because I had all the ingredients on hand and it looked so delicious. I had some fresh spinach in my refrigerator that I wanted to use, so the last 15 minutes of cooking I added the spinach. Thank you Catherine for this amazing recipe. It was a big hit with my husband and myself and so easy!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘β™₯️

  5. Love your crockpot recipes! I’ve started using a disposable crockpot liner. It makes clean up so easy. They are located on the same store isle as storage bags, wraps etc.

  6. Sounds easy and delicious! Seem Italian-seasoned panko on top woul work as well as panko followed by Italian seasonings…

  7. I've never made chicken parmesan that is my son's favorite! But I think I can definitely do this one at home. That is also our favorite spaghetti sauce the Clasico traditional sweet tomato and basil! I do not know what I would do without your recipes! Keep them comingβ™₯οΈπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ‘Œ

  8. Catherine… could you use boneless skinless chicken thighs instead? Trying to find ideas for the thighs. Love love love your videos!!

  9. Your crockpot recipes are so helpful to me. Just started to use my crockpot! Thank you so much!

  10. if I'm halfling the recipe, would I be cooking it for 2hours instead of 4hours. Also, I would only use 24oz of sauce, right?
