My dad first got this when I was in high school ~25 years ago. They’re downsizing, and the Egg made its way to my back deck this morning. Happy to be carrying on the tradition with my kids!

Awesome.
I highly recommend you replace the ring and hinge with the new design. So so so much better. Spring no longer tries to kill you during maintenance and it holds open much much better.
Also– if you are in need of a topper, these are fantastic and keep the rain out.
