  1. Im glad she mentioned that you didn’t need a stand mixer, because I don’t have one. The having to buy the cheesecloth would have made me pass on the recipe. I like super simple. These do sound delicious! Enjoying this recipe series!

  2. Love the recipes! Pro tip: weigh your mixer bowl empty and write it down (tape the bowl weight to the back our your mixer) then you can weigh bowl with the dough (or cake batter etc) and just subtract the weight of the bowl. No need to remove the dough and weigh it!

  3. I love seeing you make all these recipes recently!
I also thought it was funny that you weighed the cookie but not the filling 🤪

To weigh the servings more easily, you could calculate how much each should weigh, zero out the scale with the dough on it, and then use the negative measurements for each while zeroing out the scale after each. It's all personal preference, though! 🤷‍♂️🤗

  4. This seems nice but the cheesecloth would deter me from trying this. Also not a fan of the filling not being incorporated into the cookie. Thanks for the recipe and review.

  5. Sounds like a scrumptious recipe. I would make the cookies n think about the filling.
Thanks for a great video n for making these for us.
    Enjoy your cookies.😊😊

  6. I've made cannoli cookies a few ways (I've done ones as sandwiches, and ones with ricotta in the dough) but not stuffed ones.
The cinnamon is crucial! Personally I'd add more (and some in the dough) since we love cinnamon in my house.
I think if you were to make these again, do not flatten them like that; make taller mounds of dough, and freeze them for a bit before baking. Then you'll end up with the thicker cookies you like 😁

  7. A bloody fantastic—and positively scrumptious—cookie recipe from you lovely folks! Brilliant work, Ms. Tami. Very informative! I cannot wait to share it with my darling wife, Lisa, later tonight when I get home.

Being a full-blooded Italian, Cannoli’s are one of my favourite desserts, ever! My Grandmother was the baker of the family, whereas my Grandfather, Papa Sal Marino, was the Pizza connoisseur. We Italians love food! And we love to eat, too! 😆

Ms. Tami, you and Kevin are two of the most erudite food reviewers, analysts and thinkers of this age, my dear friends. I have been following your channel since circa 2014-15, and I am always pleased by the quality of your work! 👏

Now, I realise I have not commented much on your recent resurgence of videos – but as an ardent supporter of yours, please do know [that] I have watched, liked and shared each and every single one of them [with] my family, friends, peers and fellow colleagues.

    Thank you for sharing, 👍

  8. Wow! They do look supremely delicious, Tami! Great work on these! We appreciate and enjoy all your recipe videos, especially the cookie recipes! We (my kids and I, that is) made the THICK Oreo STUFFED White Chocolate Chip Cookies from last week’s recipe video! They turned out great! A big hit!

  9. Just a tip (hope you don’t take it the wrong way). You could weighed the bowl in the beginning and then with the dough and then just subtract 😊

Lovely this kind of videos. ❤

  10. Love that y’all make your own cookies now! These sound fabulous – and look so good!! Can’t wait to try them! I’d never have expected them to have cinnamon. Thanks for making these!

  11. These look super good, but not sure if worth the hassle like you said. I like the idea of dusting the top of a choc chip cookie with the powdered sugar and cinnamon!

  12. These sound and look delicious. Good idea to go back in and make the cookies thicker and the well deeper, they turned out perfectly
