Hello! This is my first habanero plant and it's dropping flowers like crazy! It still has lots of unopened buds but every single flower ends up just falling. I heard that this is normal but I also heard some people say that the bottom leaves should be pruned? You can see in the second picture how the flowers just start getting weaker and fall.

Also, as you can see in the third picture, some of the "joints" have this darkened shade. I have read on google that it may be a fungus infection, but other people say that this completely normal.

Should I stop worrying or should I do something to help it? Thanks!

You don’t have to be always a good idea to keep as many leaves off the ground as possible. Plus, aesthetics factor in for me, and I LOVE the way habaneros look, so I usually spend more time pruning for shape than I should. Such a fun grow.
