To say I’m proud is an understatement. This single plant has 18 green peppers left but a few have turned red now as of today. Are the red ones ready to be picked or should I wait?
My other question is, what kind are these? I’m asking because I was mostly excited about my habanero, scorpion and scotch bonnet but my neighbour’s cat decided to make that section of my garden her litter box and just dug everything out. This one was planted in another section so it’s been doing fine. But I can’t remember what this one was? Just regular cayenne? Can I expect any heat from this at all?

It looks like a cayenne or a close relative.
They definitely look like cayenne! What a gorgeous crop, congrats! I would harvest the red ones for sure
Time to dry them out and make super fresh red pepper flakes!! Awesome!
