I'm looking to buy a big green egg and I found a great price on marketplace. Unfortunately it looks to have a Crack on the inside of the egg. Is this something that is repairable or to be worried about? Thanks in advance!

If the price is right that piece is easily replaceable and could be used as is for a bit.

I have four of those in my firebox purchased in 2013. It’s only cracks in the outside that are an issue.

Mine cracked and the BGE community said it is warrantied. So I am taking my photo up to my local BGE partner to see if I can get it replaced for free.

Waiting for my new one to arrive

Mines been cracked like that for about 4 years. Even though new one is in the garage , I’m still rolling the old one until it becomes unusable
My fire ring is also in 3 pieces. Still works

There should be a super thread for everyone to show the cracks in their fire boxes and rings

If you’re the original owner get a new one under warranty, then keep using the old one until it disintegrates.

Nope. Warranty covers this also.

Mine has been cracked like that since August and still cooking 3+ nights/week all year.

I’m more concerned about the grill! Do you put food on that?

Mines been in four pieces for about 15 years. It’ll be fine.
