Pepper plants regrow quickly. Put fencing around them for protection!

thats fine, ive seen younger pepper plants recover from worse. yours seems relatively mature so you are good it will continue to grow.

On another note, that mulch mound around the tree in the background is going to kill it, either from girdling or rot. Take a looksie at the r/arborists sub. Just an FYI. Good luck with those peppers.

Not sure where you live but if you got time in your growing season. I’m sure the peppers will recover just fine. Like the other person said. Put some type of cage around it.
