In Vietnam there is a ceremony for late family members in which foods will be offered to all who come. Some are regular foods but there a good chance some family will prepare vegan food due to Buddhism tradition, just like this picture. Full of colors and flavours, they use combination of tofu, spices and certain flours to mimic all kind of textures and senses. Since traditional Vietnamese vegan food don't use milk, just a bit of bread (you can op out easily), even almost no honey so it's safe for all kind people (I hope). We also prefer them fresh and less oily with heavy use of herbs so it's should be fine if you try to watch those calories.
Hope u all enjoy your day, lành thay (all is good).

Viet is one of my most favorite cuisines though I find it hard to gather all the amazing herbs you use. But aren’t these actual meat from chicken and pigs that I see? If they are not, I would love to know what these are.
Vietnamese food is top tier – especially Báhn Mì
