I asked in the weekend thread about what to expect if I made two butts at once that were different weights as far as cook times. Well, they both cooked the same amount of time and had the same internal temp when I pulled them both (201 internal temp).

Seasoned Friday night with Traeger prime rib rub and coarse ground black pepper and wrapped and put in fridge. Put on at about 5pm Saturday night, pulled off at 9:20am Sunday. Left meat (Costco twin pack) was about 7.5 pounds, right meat was 9.15ish pounds, Kroger brand. Both had been frozen and then thawed before I seasoned them. Kroger one came out more tender. I struggled to get it off the smoker, was afraid it’d fall totally apart as soon I got it off the grates! Both were delicious and a big hit with the family.
