Grilled a few NY strips to break in my new Slow N Sear Kettle and Grill Grates. Seasoned with Killer Hogs steak rub, coated with olive oil and threw them on the grill

    Where did you get that shelf? Is your Weber 26”? Also does it fold in when not in use?

    Not to yuck another man’s yum, but to me charcoal and grill grates are sort of at odds with each other.

    Nice! I have a Weber premium 22” I bought used for $50, then bought full grill grates (half is plenty, not sure what I was thinking) and the slow n sear. I go through phases of using the grill grates and then may not use them for a while. They do make it easier to get an even cook for sure.
