My favorite food on the grill is chicken drumsticks! I make a sweet heat barbecue beer sauce to slop onto it after the cook. But I got my tecnique DOWN and I'll pass it along here. I use any square grill with a lid.

-Light up one very full charcoal chimney and spread it across the back half of the grill. We're cooking indirect.

-Toss your drumsticks in olive oil, salt and pepper. Place them dorectly over the coals to get a good sear. Flip every 5 minutes until thr skin looks a little crisp.

-As each drumstick completes the sear, place it to the front of the grill away from the coals. Once you have all you chicken up front, close the lid and set a timer for 20 minutes.

-After 20 minutes, sauce, flip and sauce the other side. Close the lid for another 20 minutes.

-Optional-
You can sauce each side again and place the directly over the coals flipping them around for another 5 minutes to tighten up the sauce and get a crispy outer layer.

-PLATE IT UP! Juicy and crispy in every bite!

Thanks for the details! Enjoy! .. curious how the skin holds up to the saucing. I’m a crispy skin fan and I worry it would soften it, and typically opt for dipping sauces.
