I want to upvote this bc your ribs look good af but man I don’t agree with your title at all. Oven baked ribs are still fire

I l9ve smoking, but my crock-pot baby backs are so good that I default to it 4 out 5 cooks.

Insta pot with apple cider vinegar and seasoning, then broil them, bbq them or smoke them for those in a rush. But nothing beats a real smoke through and through…

I’ve done 5-6 hr smoked ribs on the slow n sear on the weber several times, but my best ribs are pork loin back ribs done in 2 hours on a hot grill, but indirect. I just pile the coals to each side, clamp down the vents a bit, but cook at around 350-375. The ribs get to 203F in that time and come out juicy and beautiful.

Mom and my daughters don’t particularly like an over powerful smoke flavor. I typically do a bit of a sweet and mildly spicy dry rub and then for the last hour or so coat several times with sweet baby rays bbq sauce.

Dang, typing that is making me hungry. Gonna have to make them again soon. Grilled corn is always a nice complement to it, as they can go on the direct heat part of the grate.
