Plant looks great so far but did produce only one fruit? What can I do to get it to flower again to produce some more peppers?

Yes, provide with a water soluble fertilizer that have higher P, K numbers! That will definitely encourage flowers and fruit!

Reapers are fickle. Don’t know what else to tell you. I can’t even start one from seed in January and have fruit by September. I have to buy a small nursery one in late May and hopefully get something before the first frost. Zone 5A.

I have the same issue! 9 beautiful healthy plants , only 3 pods on one of them total 😁

    Other option:

Prepare and plan on bringing it indoors, IF you still have no ripe fruits by the time your weather turns, and you don’t want all your hard work to go to waste.

Provide a lot of light and warmth.

Plan for fungus gnat, aphid and other insect control in advance.

Ps. Next year start reapers earlier – and/or choose other, faster maturing peppers.

I bought a small nursery one in early June and my plant has beeen fruiting like crazy recently. Got about 10 reapers growing rn. I’m in zone 7a

Could be pot size. My reaper in a 3 gallon last year got tall and only put off about 20 pepper. This year my two are about 4.5 ft tall and absolutely loaded but they are in 30 gallon pots. Next season throw mychrorizzal fungi and azomite in the hole when you plant in final bucket. Both of my reapers have between 15-20 ripe on it and over 100 flower buds each
