The last box I ordered back at end of April ended up having meat juice leaked in the box so I skipped until this week I decided to try again. I opened my box tonight and it looked like leakage in the box as well as a small puncture in one of the meats (the others seemed to be fine cause I couldn’t find any holes in them??) . I am going to call customer support tomorrow but I’m concerned about the food safety. I didn’t throw anything away yet but I’m still worried. What do you guys think?

This is the one thing that annoys the fuck out of me with hello fresh.. other meal kit companies put the meats in plastic bags so if they explode it’s contained in a plastic bag. I don’t know why hf hasn’t done this
It happens occasionally. It’s not a big deal. Eat the ruptured protein first or put it in a ziplock bag while it’s in your frig.
I’d be cautious with the meat given the leakage and puncture. It’s good you’re contacting customer support, but consider throwing away any questionable items to avoid potential health risks.
