I’m eating around 1500 but I’ve always loved chips especially red 40 but ik it’s a bunch of calories and unhealthy stuff but I started eating some Trader Joe’s chips and I wanted to know if eating like a cup of them is okay since sodium is high ! I cut out red 40 chips and chips in general but I get cravings for these mostly

I’d say that if it fits into your daily 1500 calories, then why not treat yourself once in a while?

It won’t eliminate the high sodium but it helps to drink all of the water X’D personally I eat quest chips a lot(and obv they’re high sodium) but I also drink ~80oz of water a day when I have them x’D

You have to feed your cravings every once and a while- if not, you may end up unintentionally binging. Making health(ier) choices over the less healthy habits you were giving into before is progress. Even the healthiest people have dessert sometimes. Just be careful, sometimes junk food can trigger binges for people, and obviously you don’t want to eat all your daily 1500 in chips and snacks if you’re wanting to be healthier.

I found these protein chips at Aldi’s. I don’t know if ive been in a cut long enough so that anything remotely unhealthy tasting, tastes amazing, but I personally love them. Whole bag is 220 cals and 40 grams of protein. Similar to a piece of chicken.

Con- my best friend hates them.

Pro- my two year old loves them

Brand: Elevation, Protein Puffs (nacho cheese or jalapeño cheddar at Aldi)

Also,. You have to eat foods you enjoy within moderation. Otherwise everything sucks and you will have no happiness. Jk- but then you won’t learn how to have those favorite foods in moderation after you’re done tracking and run the risk of binging it all back.

The the sour cream and onion rings from Trader Joe’s, too. They’re made with lentil and something else. The whole package is like 340 calories. It isn’t as big as a bag of chips, but my volume eating brain is satisfied knowing I can eat a whole bag of something, haha.
