A half mile from my apartment is big Tomys.
I got the chili cheese burger, big thing of fries, large soda and gf got a grilled cheese.
Burger was $7.60, grilled cheese $5 or so.
Fries the same.
All in all, not bad,
LA 6/10,
or 8/10 elsewhere.
9/10, locals spot, no tourist lines.
Would come again, would recommend if in the area, but not go out of your way.
Patty taste good. Just wish it had more chili and cheese. Fries were alright, good crisp on outside, fluffy inside, potato-y flavor with no overbearing seasoning.

Sometimes you just need it… and it hits the spot every time.
My go-to whenever I want chili fries. They don’t skimp on either.
How’s it compare to Tommy’s Original?
The patty melt and tuna melt there are my favs. And it’s the only place I know of in the Westside that has orange bang.
