I'm not a tradesman but got fed up of having to use an umbrella in the rain when I wanted to grill.
Had some old bricks and paving slabs and this is what I managed to come up with. Here's to giving winter the middle finger and being able to grill against the elements.

Nice ! Did you grill on the grass before ? How was it pushing the kamado on it?

I would need that roof to be opaque- it’s hot as hell here and I need shade. I love the split top so the heat and smoke can dissipate quickly. Nice work on the slab, looks nice. 👍
