Grew em for the first time this year. Amongst ~20 varieties, Black Krim was the first to harvest, even earlier than cherry tomatoes. And it’s been so productive. And absolutely gorgeous.

Looks like a well done advertisement for BLTs and Black Krim. Black Krim is an astonishingly good tomato for a BLT. My one Black Krim plant was a dud this year, but last year Black Krim was the most outstanding of all my tomatoes. Thinking I might give a Black Krim daughter, J.D. Special C-Tex, a shot in 2025.

Love Black Krim for BLTs. We grow Black from Tula as I like them even better for BLTs and plain eating. Can’t go wrong either way. Both are low acid, sweet, and have that dark, earthy flavor.
