
They tasted just like macarons are supposed to taste, albeit a little soft because i took them out too early and forgot to tap out the air bubbles. No my kitchen didn’t explode, no one died of poison, and I didn’t get struck down but the macaron gods because i used all-purpose flour instead of almond and confectioners sugar instead of granulated in the meringue. For a first attempt, I think I did a pretty damn good job.

Okay? They can’t really taste like macarons if you don’t follow a macaron recipe. I’m glad you didn’t end up wasting ingredients I guess

But you didn’t really ask for advice? You asked if you could substitute 2/3 of the ingredients, people tell you it won’t be a macaron, you crack on and made some cookies that aren’t macarons.
Hi! It looks like you’ve made some cloud cookies, not macarons. What makes a macaron a macaron is the almond flour. Hope this helps
