after getting all of my meat from costco and the supermarket this year since really getting into grilling and smoking, i finally went to my local butcher yesterday.

picked up a marinated hanger, a few ribeye caps, a tri-tip and some double applewood smoked bacon.

i already grilled the hanger last night. debating what should be next. it’s going to be a good weekend.

That’s pretty awesome that they carry Tri tips out there in Jersey. They definitely seem harder to find outside of the west coast.

That’s a great selection, and good on you for supporting local businesses!

I dig the art work on the signage. What the hell is a pork cup cake though? I have never heard of that before.

OP, that appears to be a solid butcher shop. Definitely make that part of your regular rotation, and get to know the people behind the counter. If you need a special cut some day, that should be the first place you call.

I feel like I would spend money here simply because of the cool advertising.

i had to do a triple take on that Local Pork Chop postit. Looks too much like Gizmo from gremlins.

That display cabinet is why im not allowed into a butcher without a chaperon. I’ll come out with a little of everything because it all looks good
