Bought this plant from a garden centre, can’t remember the exact variety, just remember that it’s got black in the name. All the large peppers have this growth at the base, some have quite a lot but some only have one or two.
Haven’t seen this before and any time I search around for abnormal growth online there’s nothing that looks like this
