Would you like some burger with your lettuce?

  2. I used to go there back in college, used to be the hot spot!

Does this place still have crazy happy hour deals? I remember seeing beer and cocktails from like $3/$6, which is far and beyond one of the cheapest deals around.

Is this even remotely a predominantly Los Angeles or even California chain? I never considered that could be the case

When this place first opened way back probably late 90s it was an amazing spot. Haven’t been there in 15 years.

They need to bring back the Cola Lime Ice.

I was at an Islands recently talking to one of the bartenders about them and I found their corporate number and left a vmail for one of their VPs asking to bring it back. Haha

  12. So many work lunches and birthdays.

I do like their burgers, sandwiches and fries but… NO I DON’T WANT IN ON THE ONE SHARED DESSERT FOR THE ENTIRE TABLE!

This place was top tier dining when I was in my early 20s. I used to go to the location on Pico, near the Westside Pavilion, both of which are now closed.

Now that I have a kid, I’ve gone to the Burbank location a few times. The food actually tastes how I remember it, and the serving sizes are still huge.
