    We Need Your Help!

We’ve noticed that recent changes in Reddit’s algorithms have made it harder for original content (OC) communities like ours to get the visibility we used to enjoy. This shift means that posts and comments aren’t getting the attention they deserve.

By voting on and commenting on posts, you’re not only helping others but also boosting the visibility of your own posts. Your engagement is crucial, not just for r/PelletGrills, but for all the wonderful niche communities like food, crafts, art, and culture that thrive on original content. Even a simple comment like “This would fit X sub” can make a big difference.

Together, we can support and uplift our entire community. Let’s keep the positive vibes and delicious smoked meat content flowing!

Recommending to spice those babies up and leave em uncovered in the fridge overnight.

220F 6 Hours and 3.5 Hours of 300F has been money for me. Good luck!

  4. I’m doing a 16 pound brisket for my kids birthday party tomorrow as well!

(Fellow dad here. Pulled pork ftw!!! 👊)

Once cooked and shredded, continue to mix in rub to season the meat. Spread out, season, mix and repeat till tasty. Learnt from Malcom Reed. Taste as you go to avoid over salting. Also a can of coke, orange soda, or Fanta mixed in per butt adds good sweetness and liquid that evaporates from the heat.

Every month my local Food Lion does a 99 cent per pound pork butt deal and I try to snag a big one!

It’s amazing what we do for our kids these days. I’m the same way. Pretty sure my dad had my drunk uncle serving up hockey pucks off the grill for my HS graduation. We had fun though!
