Well this is great! I would normally add green beans, mushrooms, and green peas to my pot pie, but not mad at this at all!

It was one of my biggest surprises. Packed with flavors and just overall very good.

I’ve had it twice and after my first one I saw someone say they bake the biscuits normally then just top them onto the meal and I think the biscuits turned out a bit better that way. The first time I just didn’t feel the biscuits really cooked through all the way. Either way was delicious though.

We had this for dinner tonight, and I thought it was very good. Another favorite to add to my list!

Added – Extra garlic. Misc other seasonings like smoked paprika, Everything but the Leftovers, Umami seasoning, garlic powder, a smidge of lemon pepper to brighten it up.

Didn’t use any of the oil – the chicken thighs produce plenty of fat to cook them fine, and left enough in the pan for the veggies.

Used the butter for the sauce, but just did a lil spray of Pam on the biscuits themselves.

Wasn’t able to eat all 5 biscuit halves, but devoured my serving of the filling. So good.

Very easy to lighten up this meal as appropriate for your needs. Cheers!

Interesting… this is called a chicken pot pie? I’ve always thought those were actual pies with the chicken filling.

We just had this yesterday! My wife loved it! Next time I would add some diced potatoes, but idk if my wife will let me make any changes!

Hot tip! It’s a lot better if you break up the raw biscuits into bite sized pieces prior to baking on top of the pie. They cook more evenly and as a bonus they’re much easier to eat.

Dinner last night at my house also. We loved it! Didn’t do any adjustments as it was our first time trying it… Except I need my biscuits browned, so they needed extra time in the oven compared to the suggested time.
