Since we’re still in durian season, selain dari bubur durian, what do you usually make using durian?

Today I’m gonna show you how to make Fried Durian referencing the style of traditional Italian dish, Arancini, which is fried rice balls typically made from leftover risotto. It’s creamy, crispy and so sedap! 😋 So I call this majestic dish, Durian Arancini. Easy to fry, makes you wanna try! 🤩

Ingredients:
✏️½ cup – Rice (Wash & Rinse)
✏️4 cups – Fresh Milk
✏️2 cups – Water
✏️½ cup – Sugar
✏️½ tsp – Salt
✏️Durian (Remove Seed)

To fry:
✏️Breadcrumbs
✏️Flour
✏️Eggs
✏️Deep fried

  1. As someone living where western rice pudding is normal and boring I'd up the Malaysian quotient and go with santan, gula, pandan and grated coconut instead of breadcrumbs!
