Anyone have this issue? My Kamado closes perfect normally, but when using the DoJoe there is a small gap in the back.

I’ve never had a perfect seal with the DoJoe any time I’ve used it. In fact your gap seems smaller than the ones I usually have. But it also doesn’t seem to matter, what with the giant opening in the front…

Does the hasp on the DoJoe properly connect to the hook portion of lid? I find when using mine that it’s a matter of a quarter inch one way or the other to get a full seal all the way around. That said, that small of a gap will not make any difference.

The gap I have is way bigger. Yours is barely noticeable. 👍
