I burned this entire pot of collard greens. I’ve got culinary skill. Is this edible to a normal human?

Add some carrots and say its soup and voila!

Did you add liquid to the pot or do they just turn into soup if you overcook them in a pot? I’ve never had it turn to soup and I’ve overcooked just about every vegetable around.

I didn’t think they could hold that much moisture

Idk eat it? Why would you come to a cooking tips forum to show off your own fuck up and ask how it tastes

How does it taste? Often I find if I burn even a little bit of a mass I am cooking, the burned flavor permeates the whole and makes it inedible.

Taste it. It won’t be dangerous to eat, but it might taste horribly. If it tastes ok, it’s ok.

Collard greens aren’t edible, burnt or unburnt.

I kid i kid! I know lots of people who love them. I’m not one of them.

Burned tastes burned. There’s nothing for it.
