I tend to get the ground beef in those square vacuum packs, just slice it into four smaller cubes and smash them. The result is thin squarish burgers kind that look like oversized white castle burgers. I’m pretty fond of them.

My buddy loves making square burgers. Spreads the meat over a whole tray and flatten it out with another one. That way they’re all uniform thickness and cook evenly.
