I just got a Ninja Creami. For fun I put a premier protein shake in there (added 2tbsp of good cocoa powder to the 24oz container to amp up the chocolate). No other additions. Ran it on 'lite ice cream' setting TWICE (ie 8 minutes total
processing). Fabulous! Like an excellent soft serve. Great ice cream substitute and you also get your protein shake.

  1. PB2 is also good if you want some peanut butter cup flavor.

I just can’t justify another machine in my kitchen..

I love my Creami too. Thank you for sharing a recipe I never thought of. Can’t wait to try. ☮️

Forgot to ask, I presume you froze the shake, how long? I’ve found 24 hours is unnecessary. Thanks!

If you toss it in the freezer after its done, does it get rock hard? That has been my experience with all these keto ice creams.

Nice; and thanks for the idea!! I’ll try it in my regular ice cream freezer though…

Sorry for the dumb question but you literally just put a protein shake and cocoa powder in there? No ice or water or anything else?
