The calculator I used said your BMR was 1,061, and with sedentary activity, your calorie needs would be minimum 1,243

Why is this one so low?

I mean you are very light and sedentary. Of course the TDEE will be low. If you want it to be higher you can move more in your daily life

My question is why are you trying to lose weight if youre 94lbs? I cant possibly imagine youre short enough as where thats needed

Like sedentary sedentary? Cause that’s shits bad for ya.

Edit: Sorry everyone is so offended, but you don’t need a lot of calories to maintain 100 pounds of resting heartbeat. No matter how sad it makes you.

Most TDEE calculators I’ve found are always way below the reality ? I know my TDEE is at 1700 through trials and errors for perfect maintenance and all the calculator I used used to tell me 1300-1500.

  5. You just have to love something named the Mifflin St-Jeor.

    You’re sedentary at 4’10.
“1200 is plenty” does not apply in every situation and if it’s accurate and you provided accurate info, you will gain weight at a 200cal surplus.

It sucks but short people have it hard when it comes to indulging. I’m 5’0 so I get it.

I don’t buy the accuracy of the TDEE calculators that I find online at all. I’m around 5’0 and I’ve always been average weight while eating around 2000 calories. So maybe stick to 1200 to lose weight regardless.

If you build more muscle you’ll increase your BMR and can eat a little bit more calories as a result

Sedentary is sitting all day. My BMR is under 1150, but with exercise, my TDEE is 1400-1500. I have to put in the movement if I want to eat 🤷🏼‍♀️.
