The wire mesh gasket on my KJ CJ III came loose and I tried to repair it with special fireplace gasket glue, however, it became loose again two weeks later. You might be able to see some white-ish stuff on the photo.
Any advice? I closely followed the instructions from the glue manufacturer.

You could email the kamodo joe customer services and see if they will send you a replacement.
The same happened with my bottom gasket.
I used a high heat gasket glue, then duct taped it down in multiple places. Closed the lid and left it for a day to dry. Haven’t had any problems since.
[Lavalock High Temp Silicon](https://www.amazon.com/LavaLock-Smoker-Sealer-Silicon-Adhesive/dp/B01LRLELK0/) adhesive works perfectly for when the adhesive on the fiberglass gaskets eventually fails. Apply, then close the dome. Allow it to cure for 24 hours and it should be good to go.
