Hoping somebody can clue me in to what is happening with one of my plants.

The Super Chili F1 up front has exceeded all expectations and already gave me dozens of nicely hot little peppers this season.

The Anaheim in the back has produced two major branches and a couple of small fruits, the largest about 3" long. I realize it may need more time to establish but it's also started dropping some mottled, dry leaves on the bottom half. This makes me wonder if there's a health issue going on that might be impeding success, like a pest or missing nutrients. The fact that the plants are right next to each other and in basically identical light and soil conditions makes it more inexplicable.

Admittedly, it might be taking more heat off the block wall, but it's also a bit more shaded in the afternoon and didn't start doing this until the monsoon rain arrived and the night air cooled a bit. Would love any ideas.

Different strains are more prone to disease, pests, light levels, heat tolerance, etc so its definitely normal to havs different outcomes that are right next to each other. Could also come down to that plant as an individual. Some ive noticed are just not robust/weak.
