I’ll check it out soon and report back – would be a lot closer for me than MT Market, and I wouldn’t have to brave the cross-downtown traffic.
PS – there’s a halal market/restaurant at First and Stassney, next to Thrift Town. I was surprised, their produce looked pretty good and the prices were better than HEB on a lot of things.
Saw this today too, but didn’t have time to stop. Can’t find anything online either.

I see a “halal” sign so maybe it’s a middle eastern and/or Eastern European market like international foods up in north Austin. I hope so because we need more here in south Austin.
