Buy pre shaved beef slices. I used 2 lbs. made an á jus gravy in slow cooker. Heat on high and pick apart and place raw beef into hot juice. Simmer till cooked. Remove and drain single sandwich portions onto a foil lined baking sheet, top with provolone cheese and broil until golden brown. Place in a hoagie roll, ladle in “gravy” and top with hot giardinara relish. Enjoy!

What’s the hack?
I do this all the time. This is one of my regular dinners. However, I usually use some onions and peppers as well.
You gotta put some of the juice on the roll. Nowhere in Chicago is completely draining their beef.
A lot of folks here don’t know the magic of hot giardiniera. It’s really what makes it imo, outside of the gravy of course. Thanks for sharing! (:
In a pinch I use very rare sliced roast beef from the deli, never made it in a crock pot.
Are you from Chicago?
That bread looks like a desert
HEY DIPSHIT!!!! IF I CAN’T MICROWAVE IT STRAIGHT OUT OF THE FREEZER I’M NOT INTERESTED!!!!
