Do you think it’s too thick? If so, then yes.
If you don’t, then no.

Looks perfect!

It’s pretty thicc but its all personal preference.
Can always add a little more broth if you want to broaden it a bit.

It looks amazing. Any time you are cooking down it’s your preference where to leave off. That’s a perfect consistency for lots of pasta.

Add 1/4 cup of pasta water when you are serving

Its not “too thick” you just reduced the water content out a bit too much.
throw in a healthy slug of pasta water when you finish it and youll be fine.

I think it would depend on how it coated the pasta.

Have you added the reserved tomatoes yet?

I’m about as Italian American as it gets, and to me this is too thick, but if you like it and how it sticks to your pasta, that’s all that matters. I see a lot of people suggesting adding pasta water, but I’d be careful of that since it looks like this was reduced and condensed down a lot, and properly seasoned pasta water can be salty (like the ocean!) so you could potentially run the risk of the end result being too salty.

It’s actually perfect for bolognese consistency. Bolognese is not watery like other sauces

Just add water, stock or pasta water to get the desired consistency

All that matters is how YOU like to eat it.

A splash of pasta water will help it cling to pasta and do remember that as things cool they thicken, and that pasta cools quickly on the plate. So maybe aim for just a tiny bit thinner than you want it to end up and a splash of pasta water won’t kill ya.
