I paid £9.99 for all this fruit (missing 1 orange and 1 pear bc we got to it before I thought to take a pic)
If we weren't fussy this would be great, but I can't eat mango, none of us like kiwi and I don't really know how to eat a pomegranate lol.
That said, if we'd brought these individually, would have cost a lot more.
3 big oranges, 4 easy peelers, 5 kiwis, 4 apples, 3 pears, 3 nectarines, 1 pomegranate and 1 mango. Would have cost about £15 I think if we'd got it individually

For the pomegranate, cut it in half (any orientation). Put one half at a time in a bowl of water, and use your hands to remove the seeds and peel/rub off the white pith inside. Rinse the seeds and eat with fingers or spoons, on their own or with yogurt/as a topping. This is the easiest and most mess-free way I know of doing it, but you still don’t want to be wearing white for this!
I’ve tried it once and half of it was apples and I didn’t care for their brand of apples (I’m in the US). It was back in like April I think so it might have been a seasonal thing. The variety you got would make me more willing to try it again.
I don’t think it’s a bad price though it is somewhat as you say, you don’t really know what you’ll get. I’m single so unless I buy a pack of some precut fruits it tends to go to waste… I just tossed out some plums and bananas today. The plums cause they just started to ripen but they didn’t taste very good, the bananas just cause I can’t get through that many before they brown too much.
Kiwi I love so seeing that much kiwi I’d be overjoyed… kiwi isn’t exactly cheap either. Mangos can be good, but here in the Midwest US I haven’t ever had a good mango compared to the one I’ve had in Mexico… I think that spoiled me for life lol.
I think that’s a pretty great variety! Like someone else in the comments I tried their fruit baskets once (I’m in France) and almost half of it was apples, and the rest was just pears and plums so I never tried again because getting less than 10€ worth of fruits for a 15€ basket felt like a scam lol.
BTW pomegranate is not very sweet in itself, so I always eat it with sugar! I take all the seeds out and put them in a bowl with a few tablespoons of sugar and mix it thoroughly – leave it for few hours in the fridge and you get some sweet pomegranate and some yummy syrup at the bottom of the bowl 🙂
