    I work in marketing.

    I ignored the 10,000 other pieces of mail they sent me after I canceled, but I opened this one.

    Then I chuckled and said to myself, “clever girl.”

    I respect the creativity. It’s not manipulative in any way, other than to play on your assumptions.

    It’s not like they’re putting a foreclosure notice on the front or anything.
