I dropped into Market St., Pizza the other night, hadn’t been there in several months, but had been there several times prior and I’ve always been happy with his food.
And this visits, she said they had a couple new pizzas on the menu, Street Corn (Mayo, tajin, cilantro, corn, mozz and cotija cheeses) and Gyro (gyro meat, mozz cheese, tomato, lettuce, onions, tzatziki drizzle). So we got 2 smalls w/ a side of their jalapeño ranch (it’s awesome) for around $24. You can put the order in online and pick it up or order it there in your car and they will bring it out to you. There is no indoor seating, it’s grab and go.
I got to say we were really impressed with both pizzas. Something different to say the least, but the flavors were all there and it was a refreshing change of pace. I like their crust and I think the quality is pretty good here. The jalapeño ranch is to die for and totally crushes Chuys.
The Gyro meat was really tasty and a friend of ours requested us to bring something so we got the cheese breadsticks with Gyro meat added around $11. That also was pretty damn good I must say.
I also found out they have a large one topping pizza special for $11.99, and XL is $13.99. She said those are both very popular right now as well as the Street Corn pizza.
In the past, I’ve had their Italian Sub and Meatball Sub ($11) which were both pretty damn good, really liked the Italian. They have a lot of interesting pizzas here too – I’ve had the Detroit Chili Cheese Dog Pizza which was surprisingly tasty, the Reuben Pizza is rich and great for Reuben lovers. The Hawaiian was very good too. The Taco Pizza and Basil Pesto Pizza are on my list to try.
Never had a disappointing dish here, and like I said, his jalapeño ranch is phenomenal and the quality overall I think it’s pretty darn good.
